Italian address format explained
Italian addresses use the street type first (Via, Viale, Corso, Piazza), then a comma and the civic number, then the five-digit CAP, the city and the two-letter province code โ for example Via Roma, 12, 00184 Roma RM.
Cities included
Addresses are spread across major cities such as Rome, Milan, Naples, Turin and Florence, plus many regional centres.
Italian phone numbers
Italy keeps the leading 0 of landline numbers even when dialled from abroad (+39 06 1234 5678 for Rome). Mobile numbers start with 3.
