German address format explained
In Germany the street name comes first and the house number second (Hauptstraรe 12), followed by a five-digit Postleitzahl and the city. Street names are compound words such as Goethestraรe or Lindenweg, and every PLZ in our generator starts with the correct regional digits.
Cities included
Addresses are spread across major cities such as Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne and Frankfurt, plus many regional centres.
German phone numbers
German numbers have variable-length area codes (030 Berlin, 089 Munich, 0221 Cologne) and mobiles beginning with 015, 016 or 017. Internationally the leading 0 is removed: +49 30 1234567.
