Danish address format explained
Danish addresses write the street then the number, sometimes with the floor and side (Vesterbrogade 12, 2. th.), followed by a four-digit postnummer and the town. Copenhagen codes run from 1000 to 2999, Aarhus is 8000 and Odense 5000.
Cities included
Addresses are spread across major cities such as Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg and Esbjerg, plus many regional centres.
Danish phone numbers
Denmark has no area codes: every number is eight digits, usually written in pairs (33 12 34 56), and the international form is +45 33 12 34 56.
